Dear Pam and family:  I have known  Chuck since he worked as a Fort Howard mill rep in the 70's.  I was with him the night you and Chuck met for the first time.  Our lives were so close, but we never knew each other's respective families.  Chuck played basketball with me many times.  As a business associate, he helped me find the right contacts for my business.  We would chat by phone, maybe once or twice a year.  We moved up near Lake Houston in 2008, and Chuck and I were always saying we need to get together for lunch.  He has really been on my mind lately.  It was to my sad surprise to read of Chuck's passing in the local paper last night.  Words can not express the terrible loss you are feeling at this moment.  Suffice to say that our Heavenly Father, The Lord Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, and the angels of heaven are laughing with Chuck as he is getting used to his new Heavenly surroundings.  I know that your family is missing him dearly, but not his suffering.  Trust me, he is in a much better place.  Your son, Jonathan, is the exact age of our only daughter, Melissa.  We have 3 beautiful grand-children. If there is anything at all we can do to help you or your family out, please don't hesitate to let us know.  Meantime, we will be praying for you, your children, and grand-children, during this painful loss of your husband, and our friend, Chuck.  We will miss him dearly.

Chuck will always be remembered as a man who really loved his family and would do anything he could to help them. He truly had a heart of gold and never-quit attitude during his fight with cancer. He truly will be missed.

The Women'Guild of St.Philip the Apostle, Huffman, extends it deepest sympathy to Pam and all of Chuck's family at this time. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.

I will really miss my phone conversations with Chuck.  He had a great big heart and loved trying to make me laugh.  We had many good times when I lived in Atascocita and I wish he could have beat me in gin one more time.  He would have loved that.  I will miss you Chuck.  See you in Heaven.  Tray

I have lost a good new friend. Chuck and I exchanged many stories of our time in the military. He will be part of my memories forever.

If Ashley is a reflection of her Dad, then he must have been a wonderful person.  My sympathies to Ashley and her family.

My sincere sorrow for your loss Ashley. All of God's blessings to your Dad, You, and Family.  A Dad's love everlasting will always be with you... and yours with him. God watch over you and your loved ones.

I will never forget the happy times I spent with Chuck and the family. His laughter was contagious and his generosity was unmatched. A loneliness settles in when we have to say good-bye. Love to all of you from Sandra.
