Luke and Amanda, our hearts hurt so much for you guys.  James 1:17 says that "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."  What a good and perfect gift Charlotte was.  We can take comfort in knowing that we will see Charlotte Grace again in Heaven.

Charlotte Grace - Grammy will always love you.  I think of you everyday.  I wish I could have held you in my arms, but I know you are in God's arms now. You are our special angel in heaven.

Sometimes a child is raised by a family, but this time, the child raised us all to a higher level.  She touched us all, while we longed to touch her.  God's mercies endure forever, even when we can't see them through our tears.  He provided loving nurses and doctors for our sweet Charlotte, and will provide comfort for you both as you grieve. While it is difficult for any of us to understand why Charlotte was taken so quickly we must have faith in God and remember He had a reason.  We pray that in time you will find comfort and peace. What a priviledge it was for me to be one of Charlotte's nurses. What a HUGE honor it was for you to allow me to be a part of her passing into Jesus'  arms. As I told you before - some people may live to be 100 years old  and touch a few people's lives. Charlotte lived but one week, yet she touched many people's lives. Remember, your relationship with Charlotte is not over, it is just interupted. You will hold her again. Keep the faith. My prayers remain with your precious family.
