Christopher Headley Duncan

Born in Warren, Ohio, and raised in Baltimore, Oil City, and Kingwood, Chris had a lifelong love of reading, history, and cheering on the Houston Astros and the Texans alongside our dad.

Chris adored his nieces and nephews, never missing an opportunity to spoil them with candy and laughter. Though his life had its share of struggles, Chris was incredibly generous and loving, and he deeply loved his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Karen Duncan and Daniel H. Duncan.

Chris is survived by his brother, Patrick Duncan (wife Mellany; children Francine, Madeline, and Cecilia); his sister Tory Vonder Haar (husband Peter; children Kathryne, Erin, and Sydney); his sister Mollye Duncan (husband Donnie); and his youngest sister (his third favorite sister, as Chris liked to joke) , Dana Losey (husband Adam; children Stori and Ivan).

Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local library in his memory.

A funeral service for Christopher will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Texas, TX 77365. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039.
