I was luck to have known him ever since he was in pre-kindergarten and I was kindergarten, I didn't see him at all this year  because I'm in high school now, but I still remember his smile he always had, i love this kid alot and I will miss him alot

I had the pleasure of being one of his teachers the last two years. There is definitely a missing spot in our class with out his smiling face and in our hearts. They say that teachers are supposed to make an impact on our students, but he was the one making an impact. Maybe we did something right since I found out he wanted to be a teacher. We lost a special guy, but heaven gained a true angel. Chris, please never let me take life too seriously and never to quit smiling. Watch over your parents and give them the strength to get through their hard days, weeks, months and years to come. Also, to the many friends you left behind. You were truly loved by many. It definitely showed yesterday when there wasn't an empty seat and people were lined out the door to show their respect. God Bless you, Chris. I will not say goodbye, but that I hope to see that smile again one day in heaven.

Dear Steven, Sonja, and Family,

I wanted to express our deepest sympathy.  There are never the right words to express how sorry I am that you have to endure your loss.  Christopher will be truly missed by everyone who knew him no matter where they crossed his path in life.  May you find strength, in the love of family, and in the warm embrace of friends. I met chris when I was in 6th grade the first time I met him he had a smile on his face and every time I saw him after that there was that same smile I only went to kms for hal the year but the half year I new him he was the nicest frend I new. i didn't know Chris that well but he was in my choir and when he would sing my brother would always say "that boy? he is my favorite!" he always brought a smile to my face on my worst days, he is greatly missed

I only knew Christopher vaguely from some choir events, but whenever I saw him, he seemed so nice, and he always had a smile. I know that he is definitely in a better place now, and his happiness will never be forgotten.

I heard him sing being the videographer at the concerts the past two years and feel for the family and the choir and will be praying for both during this time of celebration of life and grief that our human hearts endor.

I did not get the privledge to meet Christopher;  However through Sonja's posts, I know that he was very special and I know he touched many lives.  Looking at his pictures show that he was a loving, caring, and happy person!  I am sorry I will never have the chance to meet such a wonderful, special young man.  Our prayers are with you and your family!  He is now at the right hand of Jesus watching over everyone he loved.

Your son truly did touch many lives and he was well loved by all. No parent should have to endure such heart break. Please know that your loss has touched the entire community.

I watched him grow through scouting.  If it was hot outside he had a smile, if it was cold outside he had a smile.  God now has an angel with a smile on his face by his side.

I didn't know chritopher but I knew his mother from high school an according to what everyone is sayning he's the spiting image of his mother,sonja I'm so sorry for yalls lost,but GOD doesn't give us more than we can handle TRUST IN GOD

My heart goes out to you all.  I only knew Christopher briefly as he joined in some of our youth group activities at KCC, but I was continually moved by the joy emanating from his face and his actions.  I thank God for the light Christopher brought across my path and the paths of our youth.  Peace be with you and with the many who will miss him.

I knew Christopher from KMS.  I looked forward to his smile every morning when he got off the bus.  His smile and love of life will always be embedded in the hearts of all of us that were lucky enough to know him.  My prayers are with you during your time of grief.
