Clyde Cleveland Keef Jr.

Clyde Cleveland Keef Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2015 surrounded by his beloved family at Kingwood Medical Center. Born in Adger, Alabama, Clyde was one of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. Clyde passionately served in the United States Navy for 2 years. Succeeding his military service, he moved to Houston, Texas where he met and married Iva Belle Lum. He began his lifelong career in the home improvement business eventually working for ABC Restoration for many years. During the course of his life, Clyde married and had numerous children, when he met his late wife, Bonnie McCoy as a fellow church member at River Oaks Baptist Church in Porter, Texas. Bonnie and Clyde were married for 21 years where they traveled the country together. Being a devout Christian, Clyde faithfully attended Tram Road Baptist Church in Splendora, Texas which he helped build. Clyde was very active in his local community and church as well as serving many years for the Porter Water Board. Jeff Gordon was a favorite NASCAR driver of Clyde's, being an ardent fan throughout his life. Spending time in the outdoors was also a lifelong passion of his, but most importantly to his Heavenly father and his faith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Keef and his daughter Brenda Wigginton. He is survived by his children, Donna Hines and husband Kim of Rockport, Texas, Darlane Speaks of Crosby, Texas, Clyde Keef of Porter, Texas, Gwen Von Heuvel and husband Michael of Portland, Texas, JoLynn Farrell and husband Kevin of Kerrville, Texas, Lester "Scooter" Keef and wife Kym of Cibolo, Texas, numerous grandchildren including Brian Kennedy, Chad Thacker, Tracy Escamilla, Heaven Wells, Terri Hunter, Sherri Snook, Daniel Keef, Candace Walker, Cassandra Keef, Kelsea Moore, Colton Townsend, Faith Townsend, Kymberly Keef, Maegan Keef, Jeremy Keef, numerous great-grandchildren including Kaitlin Garza, Jordan Loveall, Kira Thacker, Cullen Thacker, Bryn Kennedy, Ryan Walker, Cali Walker, Cody Hunter and Camden Snook.
