He was born on October 14, 1943 in Aurora, Illinois and lived in Kingwood with his best friend and wife of 37 years, Pamela Damon. Pam and Denny met and married in Jackson, MS and moved to Kingwood in 1980. They have a mixed family of mine, yours and ours.
Denny graduated from University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He worked with Max Access, Inc. alongside one of his longest and dearest friends, Max Cammack. Denny was full of unbelievably crazy stories and made everyone around him laugh. Denny enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching sports and traveling abroad. He was loved by everyone and will be missed intensely.
Denny is survived by son Zachary Damon of Louisville, KY, son John Damon of Madison, MS (spouse Helaina), their 5 children Darby, David, Dean, Demi and Drew, Laura Damon of Nashville, TN, daughter Lezzlie Hornsby of Kingwood, TX, son Trey Hornsby of Louisville, KY (spouse Tracey) and their three children, Hunter, Sydney and Lexi, and sister Janet Harrison (spouse Bobby) of The Villages, FL, niece Tiffany Elstad of The Villages, FL and nephew B.J. Harrison of Lafayette, LA. He is pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Doris (“Dodie”) Damon.
Denny was such a bright light in this world and we will never forget the memories we shared. Rest in peace, Eel.
