

George Monroe Singleton, born March 21, 1931 to Ruby and James Singleton in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, died September 6, 2010 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 79. Monroe also known as Monty married his High School sweetheart Jacqueline Romayne Redman Williams on April 16, 1949. George Monroe Singleton was a graduate of Harvard Business School. Monty had a successful career in the Wholesale Food Industry in Executive Management. In addition, he built a successful consulting business and was a Management Consultant for Produce and Food Service companies across the United States. Monty loved people, always had a story to tell and a smile on his face.
Monty is preceded in death by his parents Ruby Mae Robison Singleton and James W. Singleton; wife, Jacqueline R. Singleton; son, Gary Don Singleton and grandson Ronald Singleton.
