Helen Frye Richert, born April 27, 1918, Greenville, Pa., daughter of Gladys Freeland and Elmer Lee Frye , passed away July 1, 2016 at the age of 98, at her home in New Caney, Texas. She was preceded in death by loving husband, J. Benjamin Harden Richert: son, Robert C. Richert and grandson, Donald L. Crosby. She is survived by her children: Beverly Ann Clark, Richard E. Richert, William C. Richert and Karen R. Crosby. Grandchildren include: Debra Ann Clark, Timothy Clark, Sandra Fletcher, Gretchen Panduana, Heather Bogacz, Kirsten Hayes, Lisa McDonald, Rick Richert, Benjamin Richert, Christina Starrick, Dwayne Crosby, Douglas Crosby, Daryl Crosby and numerous great grandchildren.
Known as Mamaw/Meemee, who enjoyed sewing, oil painting, ceramics and tap dancing, last being 2 months ago at the young age of 98, but more than anything enjoyed her family. She was a very special person, who was loved and cherished by all.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Rosewood Cemetery, 2602 S. Houston Ave., Humble, TX 77396.
