John Hugh Gorey

John served his country in the United States Air Force and then went on to serve with I.A.T.S.E. Local 1 and Local 51.

John will be missed and eternally loved by his wife of 30 years, Janice. He also leaves behind his four sons, John, Thomas, William, and Michael Gorey, his only daughter, Bernadette Gorey, four grandchildren, John, Kate, Thomas, and Christopher Gorey. John also leaves behind one brother, Thomas Gorey, as well as his brothers and sisters in I.A.T.S.E. Local 51.

A visitation will take place on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3803 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, Texas 77339.

Mr. Gorey will then be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to the Wounded Warrior fund in John's honor.
