Jonathon A. Garner

Jonathon Andrew Garner, 24, was suddenly taken from us on June 20, 2011. He graduated from C.E. King High School in 2004 and basketball was his passion. Anytime he wasn't playing basketball he was devoting time to his family. His love for basketball was exceeded only by his devotion to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Ashlee Garner and her mother, Cheryl Howard; his loving and devoted mother, Lori Garner; best friend and brother, Joshua Garner; nephew, Elisha Garner; grandparents, Johnny and Connie Garner; grandmother, Bobbie Wagner Persky; great grandmother, Billie Adams; aunts, Tammy Torres, Kristie Walker and Sheila Scott; uncle, Jimmy Garner; numerous cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles and second cousins and an infinite number of devoted friends. He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted father, Eddie Garner and his best friend, Elisha Clay Harris. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home.
