Joseph was proceeded in death by his parents, Grady Earl Cannon and Ella Lee Raby.
He is survived by his wife, Arceli Cannon; son, Christopher Q. Cannon; daughter, Sarah C. Sanchez; brothers, Alvin Cannon and Marty Cannon; and sisters, Marie Smith and Mona Hopson.
A visitation will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2015, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at St. Martha Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015 with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery.
