Joseph Michael Rankosky

Born June 18, 1952 in Taylor, PA he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Esther Rankosky. He completed a degree in Economics from Kings College (PA). After graduation he worked most of his career at Emery Worldwide which was later acquired by UPS.

In 1977, Joseph married Ruth Twiss at Greenridge Assembly of God in Scranton, PA. They went on to have three sons, Joseph R., David and Brian.

After his wife’s death in 2008, Joseph moved to Houston to be closer to his youngest son and eventually three grandchildren, Benjamin, Emily and Zachary. In retirement, Joseph enjoyed going to car shows, spending time with his grandchildren and helping friends and family with home renovation projects.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph F. and Esther, and wife Ruth.

Surviving are his siblings, Sharon Golden and Michael Rankosky, his three sons, Joseph R., David (wife Tracey) and Brian (wife Jessica), and three grandchildren, Benjamin, Emily and Zachary.

The memorial service will be on Thursday, December 28th at Greenridge Assembly of God in Scranton, PA.
