

Joyce Vaughan, 81, of Spring, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was born on December 23, 1932, in Jennings, LA to Vincent and Elvena Piserello. Joyce was ambassador for Christ, who’s calling was to lead the lost to Jesus and she spent her life fulfilling her calling. She was a longtime member of Lakewood Church, but most recently was a devoted member of Glorious Way Church in Houston, TX. Joyce loved to laugh and often spent time telling jokes. She was a Canasta player who would play with anyone she could get to play with her. Everyone will remember Joyce for her ability to speak her mind, always leaving you knowing where you stood with her. Most of all, Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Joyce is survived by her children, Cynthia Marie Holland, Eddy Vaughan, Steven Ray Vaughan and Deborah Joyce Campbell; grandchildren, Ricky Joe Compte, Ivelynn Elizabeth Fuselier, Matthew Phillips, Alexander Vaughan, Mitchell Vaughan, Daniel Vaughan, Victoria Leigh Rodabaugh, Ashley Nickole Vaughan, Stephenie Renee Fath, Dustin Kelley Van Dyne, Danielle Koryn Van Dyne; great-grandchildren, Elijah Compte, MyKayla Fuselier, Illias Fuselier, Slade Fuselier, Emily Rodabaugh, Jaron Rodabaugh, Kenley Rodabaugh, Harper Rodabaugh, Daryl McVicker Jr., Lilliana Fath, Peyton Fath, Wyatt Van Dyne, Presley Pevateaux. Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Elvena Bennett, father, Red Bennett, brother, Vincent Piserello, Jr. and her beloved twin sister, Lois Hebert.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 18, 2014 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339.
