I just learned that my Sacred Heart Academy classmate passed away a "few" years ago.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, especially on this Mother's Day weekend 2021.

Lynn was fun and sassy; she had a wicked sense of humor as I recall.  To hear she became a nurse is quite heartwarming as she had such animation and energy when she was locked in.  I pray she is looking down from heaven and knowing she is missed.  SHA 1974

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning
that God was going to call your name.
in life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide.
and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Dear mom, I miss you so much. I pick up the phone to call you daily when ever I need advice or just to tell you some you're grandson,Gabe, did today. I know you are an angel now looking down on us from heaven. Gabriel and I say a prayer and talk to Cookie every night before bed.  You were an amazing grandmother with super patience. I'm so glad that I was able to love you for the last 10 years. You gave me so much in my life. Thank you for trusting me with your son, John. I will do my best to keep him happy for the rest of our lives. I wish so much you could be here for the birth of your new grandbaby. We will always love you and think about you everyday. Lynn is and always will be the best Sister-in-Law anyone could ever ask for. She saved Angels as a hobby, and was an Angel by profession. She was there for me during my troubled times and I know she is still looking out for us all as an Angel in Heaven.

I am so very sad to read of Lynn's passing and so very sorry for your loss.  I remember Lynn as a wonderful caring nurse when I was in the hospital and as a great, fun and trusting patient when I cared for her. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Lynn.  When I think back, she, and the entire Sheeks family, were such a prominent fixture in my life. I remember her smiling face and her loving presence.  For those things, I am eternally grateful.  She is an angel gone too soon.  Boys, you are in my thoughts.

I was so heartbroken when I heard Lynn passed away. I always adored her and remember so many fun and lovely times from the time I was in 3rd grade on. 
You all influenced me so much, especially my secret "big sisters" Lynn and Chris. I adopted them as my own since I didn't have any although I didn't admit that to Mary Beth until we were much older. She seemed touched at how much I always felt her family was my family.

She was the coolest cousin and Grandma Johns just adored her.  Throughout my childhood I would hear Grandma tell me stories of her wonderful, beautiful granddaughter Lynn.  I remember going to her wedding when I was a little girl and thinking she was like a princess. She was really there for my sister and I during the death of our grandfather and we will never forget that.  I know she is looking over us with Grandma Johns.  I wish the entire family love and all of my prayers during this difficult time.

I absolutely loved working with Lynn at Doctor's Diagnostic Hospital.  She was so funny and so awesome to work with, and was very passionate about her job.  She was always there to help in any way possible and knew I could always count on her.  I truly loved her and will miss her deeply.

To the family of Lynn Sheeks.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I have had many out patient surgery procedures at DDH where Lynn work. I was scheduled for a procedure the morning of her death.  I arrived at the hospital and went to admissions.  The ladies were aware of me to be there, and they explained they had been trying to call me.  My procedure had been canceled because the nurse who was suppose to assist in my surgery had passed away.  I was immediately sadden for her and her family.  I was told she passed away on her bday, and that sadden me more.  I just want to say.  I can't remember Lynn by name, but I know I had a great respect for the nurses in surgery there and Lynn had to be one I knew.  I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope you all will find comfort thru Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  We don't know why these things happen, but I just always like to say, "GOD NEEDED ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL FLOWER FOR HIS GARDEN."We are his children and only on loan from him."  I know right now this may not be of any comfort, but do try to understand and lean on the LORD.  Your pain will never go away, but it will get easier.  I prayer for you Peace, Understanding and Comfort. Everyone at DDH,  (this is short for Doctors Diagnotic Hospital.) spoke with much respect for Lynn.  Prayers and Blessings to you all.

Lynn always demonstrated a heart of compassion and level of excellence in all of her endeavors.
