Margaret Elizabeth Tzimorotas

Margaret Tzimorotas, of St. Dominic’s Village, Houston, passed away May 21, 2022. She was born in New York, NY, on April 3, 1944, to Florence and Tom Hickey, and lived in New York for most of her life.

Margaret worked in catholic school administration at St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Queens, NY, and, later, achieved her real estate license and had a successful career at Abbott Realty in Long Island, NY. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren, and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Nick Tzimorotas; daughter, Dawn (Tzimorotas) White, her husband, Charlton, and their children: Charles and wife, Krissy, James, William and wife, Kristi, and Elizabeth; daughter, Kim (Tzimorotas) Self, her husband, Eric, and their children: Kevin and wife, Reagan, Lauren and husband, Drew, and Allison; son, Thomas Tzimorotas, his wife, Rachel, and their children: Caitlin, Maggie, and Emma; son, Christopher Tzimorotas, his wife, Lisa, and their children: Abby, Charlotte, and Madison; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Tom Hickey, and her brother, Thomas Hickey.

Services for Margaret will be held privately with family in Houston followed by a memorial mass on July 5, 2022, at 10:30 am, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Floral Park, NY.
