Carey Michael “Mickey” Sherrer, 69, of Kingwood, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. He was born in Langdale, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sherrer. Mickey was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was passionate about his family, First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood, golf with the OFWW of Kingwood Country Club, and any game where he could shout “Roll Tide”.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Onnie Sherrer; son, Todd Sherrer and wife Randi; grandson, Jack Sherrer.
The family invites you to visit with them from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood, 5520 Kingwood Dr. in Kingwood.
