Molly W. Mitchell

Molly Williams Mitchell, 79, went to be with our Lord on Nov. 24, 2011 with her family by her side. Molly was a graduate of John H. Reagan High School in 1949, a proud member of the Red Coats. After attending Baylor University she was employed with S.P. Railroad and then Humble Oil before becoming a full time housewife and mother. She was an avid reader, having revived the libraries at White Oak Baptist Church, Forest Cove Baptist Church and starting one at Kingwood First Baptist where she was a charter member. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Mason and Corrine Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Garnett B. Mitchell Jr.; children, Elizabeth (Andrew) and Michael (Angela); grandchildren, Mason, Christian, Cally, Mitchell, Hayley, Erin and Ryan; sister, Mary Roach and brother, John M. Williams. Family received friends from 6-8 pm, Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service was held at 10 AM, Monday Nov. 28, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Remembrances in her honor were made to Kingwood First Baptist Church, Media Center, 3500 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339.
