Robert "Robb" Jay Goedert

Robb was born July 6, 1946, in Monroe, Michigan to Robert and Marjorie Goedert. Robb was a long-time resident of Humble, Texas and he attended Second Baptist Church in Kingwood, Texas. He had a long career in real estate and mortgage lending, where he later retired from Cornerstone Home Lending in Houston, Texas. Robb enjoyed spending time with his beloved sweetheart, Jo Goedert, and his family. When he wasn’t spending time with his family you would find him on the golf course or hunting. Robb was no stranger to his community and he will be dearly missed.

Robb was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Jo Goedert; daughters, Laura Goedert, Melissa Goedert, Tressa (James) Grantham, Shayna (Todd) Clark; grandchildren, Lance and Hailey Woodside, Hazel Hughes, Wyatt Clore, Tyler, Emma, Cody and Megan Grantham, Karter Clark, and Jessica Daykin; siblings, Pam (Bill) Esterline, Rick (Mary) Goedert and Mark (Becky) Goedert, and many other family and friends.

Robb was known for his generous spirit and sense of humor and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024, in the chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home. Followed by a reception at Walden on Lake Houston Golf and Country Club, 18100 Walden Forest Dr., Atascocita, Texas 77346.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to St Jude’s Children's Hospital.
