Mama loved her family heritage. From childhood, Susie had many close neighbors, friends, and family that she held strong tie to through life. She was a smart, strong woman who maintained "A's" through all of school. Susie was even honored with a scholarship for her art.
Susie had an array of jobs throughout her life such as working at a bookstore, plant nursery, and fabric store. It was here that she also developed a close relationship with her fellow workers and many fond memories.
Later in life, she enjoyed being at home with her family, cooking and keeping her home beautiful. This was another way that Susie expressed her creativity and personality.
"Thank you Mama for being such a nurturing, thoughtful, and caring mother (mama) and wife."
Susie is survived by her loving husband David Castle and her two daughters, Carolyn and Erin Castle. She is also survived by her brother Philip Obenhaus and his wife Liz, niece and nephew Sarah and Andrew, and her sister Carol.
