Aline Marie-Claire Lamothe

LAMOTHE, Aline Marie-Claire (nee Doucette) – with sadness and gratitude for her long life, Aline’s family announces her peaceful passing at Sunnyside Home on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 95 years. Aline has been reunited with her husband, Adelard, who predeceased her in 1980. Loving mother of the late Jacqueline Schaus, Rhéal Lamothe (Kathleen), Gilles Lamothe (Dianne), Luc Lamothe (Kim Schwartz) and Vivianne Matthew. Proud Grandmother of Nicholas, Tammy, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Laura, Ian, Noël, Brittany, Taylor, Christina, Matthew, Sarah, Mitchell and Marcus. Cherished great-grandmother of Emily, Dylan, Embry, Teegan, Braelynn, Kieran, Shayla, Ethan, Xander and Aubrey. One of 11 children, Aline is survived by her siblings, Roland, Jeannine, Raymond, Alcid and Jacqueline, and predeceased by Roger, Rene, Armand, Annette and Claude.

Aline was proud of her early working life as an inspector on the floor at Arrow Shirts, but it was her family that brought her joy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Friends may call at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St South, Kitchener, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers will take place on Sunday at 3:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11o’clock at St. Mark’s RC Church, 55 Driftwood Dr., Kitchener. Reception will take place in the parish hall, followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.
