Surrounded with love, Allan passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre on Thursday October 13th, 2016 at the age of 79. Dearly loved husband of Katherine, he will be forever loved by his children; Philip Fidler (Cathy), Jacqueline Herman and Peter Fidler. Allan leaves precious memories with his grandchildren; Amanda (Chris), Aaron, Daniel, Eden, Noah, Ella and great grandson Alexander. Loving brother to Edith Henry, he is predeceased by his parents Philip and Mary Fidler, and his siblings Irene, Beatrice, Norman, Dorothy, Levina, Gordon, Dora, Ruby, Stan and Lorene. Retired after 37 years from O.D.C., Allan will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Family and friends will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., (519) 743-8900, on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of Allan’s life in the Westmount Chapel at 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
