Donna Lynn Cubitt

Passed away suddenly at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 61 years.

Loving and cherished wife of Jeffrey for 39 years. The most amazing mother and best friend to Kimberlee. Survived by her mother Helen Featherstone. Beloved sister of David (Nadine), and Drew. Sister-in-law to Jim Cubitt (Jackie), Barbara Cubitt and Nancy Lulay (Mario). Adored aunt, great aunt and cousin. Amazing grandmother to dogs Hemi and Charger.

Predeceased by her father Donald Featherstone, brother Darrell, brother-in-law Barry Cubitt, and in-laws Ernie and Connie Cubitt.

Donna was strong-willed, determined, and had a wonderful connection with animals. She was never afraid to give great advice and “tell it like it was.” Donna was devoted to friends and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for all of their efforts. With their help, despite some overwhelming odds, she overcame the impossible more than once and was our miracle for years longer than many anticipated.

At Donna’s request, cremation has already taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Donna’s life at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre at 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Wednesday, June 10th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
