Peacefully at The Westmount Long Term Care on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Ana (Marin) Savulescu, her grandchildren Mihaela (Paul) Groh and Ruxandra (Dorin) Cirlova, and great grandchildren Andreas, Sabina, Alina and David. Predeceased by her husband Petre (1982) and her parents Rada and Nichita Balacescu. Visitation will be at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 544 Bridgeport Rd., Waterloo on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Didel Furtuna officiation. Interment will be at Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer's Society are greatly appreciated.
