Passed away suddenly on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the age of 57 years.
Liz will be profoundly missed by her children, Joey-Lee Rebelo (Nathaniel Dumaine), Jesse Pauley (Abigail), and Jade Pauley (Kristen Picavet). She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Manuel Rebelo (Jan), Tony Rebelo (Catherine), and Rose Britnell as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Predeceased by her father Manuel Rebelo, her mother Maria Rebelo, her sister Lourdes Smith, and her brother Frank Rebelo.
Liz will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her curious and adventurous spirit and her love of the outdoors. Liz was exceptionally proud of her children and always looked forward to time spent with them. Whether they were almost burning her house down trying to cook, playing marshmallow bowling in the living room, or juggling oranges in her kitchen, she was always excited to have everyone at home.
Liz’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Covid protocols dictate the wearing of masks and social distancing. A limited number of people will be allowed entry at any given time.
Interment for immediate family at a later date at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated in the support of mental health to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health or another mental health organization of your choice.
