Passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Care Centre on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late John McPherson. Dear mother of Sandra McPherson, Barbara McDonald (Bob), and Michael McPherson (Paula). Loved sister of Catherine Stevens (Herbie). Dear aunt of Dale, Jackie, Debbie, Lee, Dorothy, and Linda. Predeceased by her brother Jack McNeil and his wife Miriam. Born in 1926, Frances grew up in New Waterford, Cape Breton. She graduated from nursing school in 1949 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, married John McPherson that same year and relocated to Toronto.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel from 10:00 – 10:45 am on Friday, February 7, 2014, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am.
