Georgina French

With great sadness the family of Georgina French announce her passing at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on May 21, 2016 in her 76th year. Dearly loved wife of Clarence, who she whole heartedly supported in all of his ventures, Georgina will be forever missed by her daughters Sandra Evelyn French (Cameron Tsujita) and Caroline Grandy (Sherman). Precious memories are left with her cherished grandchildren: Victoria Watts (Kyle), Amanda Grandy (Dan Lamothe), Vivian Grandy (Jonny Evans), Matthew Martens, Melissa Martens and Michaela Martens. Georgina will be missed by her siblings Reg Strowbridge (Effie), Joan Keeping (Esrom), Hayward Strowbridge (Becky), Velma Moulton (Junior), Bertha Power (John), Vera Strowbridge and Alfred Strowbridge.

Georgina was "foster mom" to many, many family members who lived with her while making the transition from Newfoundland to Ontario, a loving cousin and aunt, she will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. She was a dedicated staff member of Bundy Canada for 20 years, and in her retirement was consumed by her grandchildren and loved every minute of lovingly caring for them.

Family and friends may call at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre , 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.) 519-743-8900, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Westmount Chapel on Thursday at 11:30 a.m., cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
