Gerald Young

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday February 21, 2018. Gerald was 84 years of age and was a member of St. Anne’s R.C. Parish where he ushered for many years.

Loving husband of the late Bridget (nee LeBlanc) who was predeceased in 2005. Beloved father of Gary Young (Debra) of Kitchener, Keith Young of Waterloo, Wendell Young (Tara) of Baden, Glen Young of Guelph and Heather Papadimitriou (George) of Barrie.

Gerald was survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Dear brother of Betty and Mae (Connie).

Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Rose Young; brothers and sisters, Sandford, Walter, (Wallie), John, Dennis, Josita, Mary, Jean, Monica, Cassie, Helen and Pearl.

Gerald’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Monday from 2-4, 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy to be held on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Woodland Cemetery.
