Giovanni Pace

PACE, Giovanni "John" Surrounded by his family, Giovanni peacefully passed away on March 30, 2015 at his home. Born in Taurianova, Italy in 1940, Giovanni immigrated to Canada in 1970 from Italy. Giovanni worked as a Master Tailor in Kitchener/Waterloo for over 30 years. Giovanni is the beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) Haines. He will be sorely missed by his brother, Joseph Pace and his wife Piera from Italy; sister, Tina Ferro (nee Pace) and her deceased husband Armando from Italy; his brother, Rosario Pace and his wife Michelina Pace; his brother Tony Pace and his wife Lorna Greenley and Timothy. Giovanni was predeceased by his brother Pietro Francesco Pace and his surviving wife Maria. Giovanni will be also missed by all of his extended family including nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, and special friends Pericles Seretis and Pasquale Papasergi. The family invited Giovanni's friends and relatives to share in their memories of Giovanni during visitation on Monday, April 6th from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. (Prayers at 8:45 p.m.). Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Father Mark Morley as celebrant. Interment: Williamsburg Cemetery.
