

He will be missed by his wife of 68 years, Mary, children, Sandy Schirm (Paul), Dave McDougall, Deb Black (Allan). Grandchildren, Kara, Kristin (Paul), Elliot (Siobhan), Alexander (Nathalie), Leigh, Ross (Emily), and Great Granddaughter Sloane. Also missed by his sister in laws Nancy and Kate, and by many nieces and nephews . Predeceased by his son Ken, and brothers Basil and Gord. Harvey was a long term employee of Weston Bakery, a key member and past president of the St. Clements snowmobile club, a highly respected women’s, and church league umpire, and will be fondly remembered for his proficiency at horseshoes by his friends and competitors at the Moose Lodge. He was in his element out and about with people. He and Mary enjoyed their camping and motorhome trips with family, travelling to country music jamborees, throwing epic pool parties, bowling, and a good game of cards. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Zettel, Dr. Batra, and to all the caring staff at Freeport Hospice.
