Beloved wife of the late Heinz Petersen (1977). Dear mother of Christine Foell (David) and Susan Venter. Loved grandmother of Chad (Samantha), Laurel (Kody), Joshua, Tori and Maverick and great grandmother of Sawyer Grace.
Helen was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was involved in the choir and the E.L.W. She also enjoyed hitting the lanes with her bowling league and singing with her Sweet Adeline A Capella women's group.
Helen's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., where the funeral will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
