Dear Dad
Wishing you were here today for even just awhile.
So I could say how much I love ,and see your loving smile.
The only thought of you today will be your sweet memories left behind.
Of laughter, joy and happiness that echo on in my mind.
I'll gaze upon pictures , I"ll think of you with love.
And hope you are doing fine in heaven up above.
May angels hold you closely, and sing you a happy song.
And  I'll be sending you all my love today and all year long.


Its been a year today Dad. And I'll never forget that moment , when three of my sisters and I , sat beside your bedside  and sang  O My Papa. And then God took you in his arms, My tears are still falling when ever I sing that song. I miss you so much. Dad you will be with me forever in my heart. Till we meet again .

If I could write a story . It would be the greatest ever told. Of a kind and loving father who had a heart of gold. If I could write a million pages. But still be unable to say just how much I love and miss you every single day. I will remember all he taught me. Im hurt but won"t be sad. Because He"ll send me down the answers. Hello opa, I wanted to say happy Valentine's day to you and Oma, I know you both are together up there celebrating it together. I remember Oma would always pick her own card from you, it was silly ,but you would say with a smile on your face " what can I do aah", I love you Opa and miss you very much. Big hug and kiss

Dad I baked an apple cake today and my tears fell for I remember how you really enjoyed it. Every week I would bring you a cake over .If only there was a path I would bring you a slice. But I know you are looking down with a smile. I miss you so much. We had such good times together near the end Laughed and joked around and sang.You had a good long life Dad and it was time to go. And you went peacefully that day while we sang you that song.  
Oh My Papa
Oh mein Papa to me he was so wonderfull Oh my Papa to me he was so good. No one could be so gentle and so lovable. Oh my papa he always understood. Gone are the days when he could take me on his knee. And with a smile he'd change my tears to laughter. Oh my papa so funny in his way. Oh my papa to me he was so wonderful. Deep in my heart I miss him so today. 
I will always remember that song Dad with tears which I sing often.

Dad, it's been about a month since you left us. I think about you & mom every day, & miss you very much. I have many fond memories of the past, especially my childhood days. We played board games like checkers, went boating, fishing & rabbit hunting. You took us all to drive in movies, Niagara Falls, the rodeo, beach & Sunday drives up & down the hilly country gravel roads; lots of fun. Later in life, you & I drifted apart & we didn't always see eye to eye. However, this conflict toughened me up & made me a stronger & successful person. Thank you! In the last ten years we did come together closer & I really enjoyed hearing you reminisce about your childhood on the farm in the Ukraine & you meeting mom on the farm in Germany. You had a hard, varied, full & successful life that could be made into an interesting book or movie. You achieved your last goal of living longer than your many sisters. Now you are in heaven reunited with them & other loved ones, especially your best love, Mom (Machien)

Dad, You were the best and will always & forever be remembered. I had the greatest time with you & Mom when we travelled all over the place. Opa, I will greatly miss you but you will forever live in my heart as well as Oma. I have a heart full of wonderful memories with you so you will always be with me. Now you can rest in peace with Oma in heavens gates and be together. Love is very strong and never dies and that is one thing you taught me. I was very blessed to have such wonderful, caring grandparents that loved so much. I know you are in a better place with Oma and you both are at peace together. Love you both very much and I will always cherish every memory I have with you.

anyone can ask for. I loved you with all my heart and I'll miss you dearly. You are with your loving soulmate Mom forever now. Dear Opa, your at peace now yet I miss you so much. We stopped by your resting place today to pay our respects. You have so many beautiful flowers set upon your spot. Now your beside your love. I'm going to miss sitting next to you well you tell your exciting stories from when you grew up to the time you lived in new Dundee. May you rest in peace opa I know your with oma now and you may even see my dad up there too! big hugs and kisses You are forever in my heart and always will be missed, and your memories will carry on!
