Imre Toth

Imre was the dear father of Krisztian Toth (Rebecca) and Izabella Shaker (Peter). He was a much-loved grandfather to Cabot, Ava and Amelia

Imre immigrated to Canada in 1981 where he worked tirelessly until his retirement. He accomplished great things and took great pride in the life he built and valued his family above all. His resiliency shone through until his last days.

He was passionate about his family, exercising and socializing at the local A.R. Kaufman YMCA. Imre was known for his warm and friendly nature and he was notorious for his sense of humour (even if inappropriate at times) and best known for his fashion sense of white tube socks, tank tops and shorts for most formal events. He loved his vegetable garden and making home made wine. It was always the simplest things that brought him the most joy.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
