She will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, Jack, and her four sons, Stephen (Barbara), Paul, Craig (Barb), and Kent (Heather). She was the loving and proud Grandma to eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Isabel enjoyed her lengthy career as a teacher in the KW region. The cottage at Sauble Beach was a long-time summer base for visiting family and friends, as she and Jack were from the Grey/Bruce area. She was a wonderful cook/baker, a bridge player, an avid reader, a traveller, and someone who loved the community of Forest Hill United Church.
A celebration of Isabel’s life will be held Saturday, March 14th at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South in Kitchener. Visitation will be at 10 am, a Memorial service at 11 am, followed by a Reception at 12 noon. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society, Forest Hill United Church, or Innisfree Hospice would be a wonderful way to remember Isabel.
