June Patricia Toushan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June Patricia Toushan (nee Siegfried) on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. She will be dearly missed by her 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Tim. She will also be missed by her sisters and brothers and many, many friends. She was born in Walkerton on June 11, 1933. She was a very outgoing, kind and generous person to both family and friends. She was the kind of person you wanted around in time of need. She graduated, later in life, from the University of Waterloo with multiple degrees, attended the Normal School in Stratford to train for her teaching career of 33 years. She played piano, loved gardening, aqua fit classes, auction sales and of course, her favourite past time, shopping. She was a devout member of the St. Anthony Daniel Parish and loved singing in the choir. The visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm. (prayers at 8:30 pm) at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Dr., Kitchener with Father Michael King as celebrant.
