Dear brother of Filipina Mijat and his niece Ivana Markovic and her husband Milenko and all of their children. Loved uncle of Jugoslava and Srdjan Stevanovic. Predeceased by his sister Josephine Mustacevic.
The most import aspect of life for Leon was his family and friends. He was always available to help or lend a hand whenever needed for anything. One of Leon’s favourite past times was having the day to go fishing with his family and grandchildren. Leon loved spending time travelling with his family which enriched all of our lives with wonderful memories and stories.
Leon’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener (519-743-8900) on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 6-8 pm, where the service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:00 am with Father Veselko Kvesic officiating. Cremation will follow.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be appreciated to St. Mary’s General Hospital in his honour. Thank you to all his family and friends for all the years of his love.
