Lorraine Claudia Miller

Passed away peacefully at her residence on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, at the age of 93 years. Born in Ottawa on Good Friday, April 17, 1922. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Miller and the late E. Stanley Ernst. Cherished Mother of Nicole Rasmussen {Henrik}, Paul Ernst {Gail} and Richard Ernst. Step-mother of Linda {Cappy}. Much loved Grandmother of Wade {Lisa}, Brett {Kim} and Shane {Lynette} Brown and Jaimie, Jody and Kelly Ernst. Step-grandmother of Tammy and Michelle-{GreatGrandmother to their children}. Great Grandmother of Lyndsay and Allison Brown, Step-Great Grandmother of Cameron and Megan Gerrard. Great Grandmother of Emma-Lee and Taylor Rose Ernst. Predeceased by her much loved parents, Joseph T. and Claudia B. St. Germain, and all eight of her siblings Charles, John, Lucienne, Laurant, Pierre, George, Solange, and Marie {Surviving husband Gerard Lanouette}. Survived by her many nieces and nephews-{beloved children of her siblings}, and by good friends Jeanette and Ray Slater, Evelyn Chilton and family, Darlene Kilian, Inger Rasmussen, Anne Chevalier and Dave{much appreciated grocery man}. Mom also enjoyed many friendships over her 17 years at her happy Queen's Place home {occupied}. Lorraine's family invite relatives and friends to celebrate her life at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener {519-743-8900} on Saturday, April 16, 2016. There will be a short service at 3:00 pm followed by refreshments. Cremation has taken place; Interment at a later date in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Lorraine's positive, giving and loving attitude enriched our lives. She was a great role model and will be greatly missed. Until we meet again!
