He was passionate about his work as a manager of professional services. He enjoyed exercising, traveling, and shopping. He was a particularly skilled handyman and enjoyed home renovation projects and vehicle restoration. His prideful work and ability to seemingly repair and fix any and everything led to his affectionate nickname, MacGyver.
Marc leaves behind his wife, Jennifer, his children, Selina (Eric), Colette (Bryan), Justin (Kayla) and eight grandchildren, to which Marc was known as “Pépère”. He is survived by his parents, Louis and Aline and siblings, Lorraine, Denis, Georges (April), Suzanne (Tom), Rita, Guy (Denelda), Diane (François), Lise, and Nicole (John), his step-children, Melanie (Sébastien), Jonathan (Michelle), Zachary, and five step-grandchildren, to which he was referred to as “Papa Marc.” He was the proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. His pet Boxers Bentley and Sparky are also left behind. He was predeceased by siblings, Aimé, Camille, Pierre, and Joseph.
Marc was known to always have a smile on his face, exhibit eternal optimism and demonstrate a fighting spirit regardless of the challenge. Marc was a genuinely kind, loving, and helpful husband, son, brother, father, uncle, and friend to everyone. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
