It is with admiration and respect for his courage and strength that our family announces the passing of our father – Orville Martin Warren (Buster, Marty)
A lifelong ironworker he travelled Canada and the U.S. erecting our bridges, our buildings, our power plants and our communities. God made him tough with a generous heart.
His sense of humor, political commentaries, job site stories and loving support will be missed by his three children; Deb, Tracy (Carl), Marty (Jody) and their mother Carol.
Nine grandchildren; Britt (Shawn) , Holly, Tanya, Carl, Zach (Megan), Mitch, Rae, Brett, Kelly. Two great granddaughters that were the flowers of his life, Lillilynn and Rosilynn and one great little man, Dylan.
One of 13 children; he will be missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He was a true ironworker through and through, proudly working out of Hamilton Local 736. He spoke with such respect for the men he had the privilege of erecting iron with.
Our Dad lived his life on the edge, full of adventure, no regrets, heart on his sleeve, never back down, and, as an iron worker would say, he has “dragged up” and moved on and is now on the road to everywhere.
Our family cannot find words to express the amount of gratitude we feel for the home care team that made his days brighter and ours blessed. No one really understands what you do every day until they need you there. Your compassion, respect, advice, and help will always be remembered with heart felt appreciation and thanks.
