Beloved husband of Linda Helm (née Hinschberger). Dear father of Michael and Christopher. Also missed by his furry grandbaby Nikki. Marvin will be sorely missed by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Irene Helm.
Marvin enjoyed traveling with Linda and close family and friends. He liked a good game of cards with family and friends, including many memorable times shared at Soaring Eagles Casino in Michigan, as well as travel to many enjoyable sunny destinations. Marvin had a passion for spending time refinishing antique furniture and putting together photo books documenting his life and family adventures. He also loved preparing for and holding garage sales.
Marvin's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
