I am deeply saddened to have just learned of Nancy's passing today at BFO's Butterfly release memorial. I had met Nancy and spent many BFO meetings together over the last couple of years. As a bereaved mother as well, her and I had many discussions about spirituality and learning and recommending books about proof of heaven to give us comfort when thinking about our daughters on "the other side". Nancy was an amazing support to others, even during her own time of grief. Although I only knew her during a small fraction of her life, please know that knowing and being around her at our BFO meetings had a great and positive impact on many people. She also wrote and framed a beautiful poem with a little glass angel and gave it to me when she knew I was hurting the most. I will cherish this gift more than ever and will read it often and think of Nancy, and our daughters in heaven- She is now also  "An Angel of Love".

We are so sorry for your loss Brad. It only seems like a few years ago we were both at Eldorado Tool, and you living at the end of the street after you worked at the Blower. We had many fun times together as couples and isn't it funny I had coached her little brother Steve.  I just got out of the hospital myself, no not serious just a total hip replacement. We choose to remember the fun times.

When I think of Nancy I think among  many thoughts family, love, and adventure  and looking at the beautiful memories you shared these memories come to life.  
My best memories with Nancy always involved her taking care of me making sure I am safe.  I looked forward  to Friday nights cause  we had a standing dates to go to the movies .  
Nancy was always ready willing and excited to have long conversations with the same beliefs always walked away feeling wonderful and renewed.
Nancy you were more than a sister-in-law you are my sister ❤️

From the moment you stumbled into #Casual, we clicked. So many hours chatting online, by phone, text, messaging, FaceTime...but the most memorable occasions are the ones when you just showed up on my doorstep with a ready hug and an adventure on your mind.  Twenty plus years of friendship m’lady. I only wish we could have had at least one more adventure together. 

The laughs, the tears, the hugs (both virtual and physical), the support, the cheering, the reality checks...I don’t think I could have survived college and raising a child with disabilities if it had not been for your advice, your ability to let me vent and scream when I was loosing my mind.  

Thank you for being there for me when life sank so low. Your voice, your words each time my life was falling apart...to this day still get me through. Thank you for helping me through so much. Thank you for letting me be there when you needed me. 

Spread your beautiful wings m’lady and fly so high! Your free. 💕

So many memories! I will miss her smile, I will miss her up for anything.  I will miss her looking after me when I was sick. I will miss her never judging. I will miss her listening ear. I will miss my friend always. 

Dear Brad and family,I have only known Nancy for about 4 years but have come to see how strong and beautiful she is. Unfortunately she left us too soon but she is not alone being reunited with Amanda and her dad. She shed many tears over their passing but many laughs as well . May you all be as strong as she was.

Brad: To you and your family, my deepest condolences.  The loss of our loved ones originally brought Nancy and me together. But her constant search for answers, ways of dealing with life straight on, and dry wit, created bonds.  I will miss her but try to learn from the path she lit. 

Along with our friendship built after many, many hours online, I’m forever thankful for trusting us to let your middle daughter travel half way around the world to visit. 

But my most treasured memories are of your honest and loving help when I was a first time Mum. I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew I was doing it all wrong and you assured me, every time, that I was fine and my daughter would grow into a young woman.

Brad, to you and your family my condolences. Nancy will always hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Strong, caring and loving are the three words I'd use to define Nancy.  
Strong because of her courage and her "take charge" personality. Caring because she always had an open heart for others who were facing their own challenges. Always trying to bring comfort to them. 
Loving because she set the standard, striving to be the best mother  to her daughters, grandchildren and wife to you. She will be missed by many and remembered often by them all.  As we grieve Nancy here; there is a Reunion happening in Heaven and she is being well taken care of.

I am so sorry to the whole family. I adored Nancy and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. She was a big part of my healing after losing my son. Nancy and I attended BFO together and remained friends after our group ended. She was my date each and every year for The Tree Of Bright Stars arranged through Bereaved Families of Ontario. I visited her while she was at Lisaard House and she was still spunky. I admired her strength and most of all her courage. I will definitely miss her but will never forget her  Rest in beautiful peace.  Xo
