Nancy Eileen Hyde (nee Tarr) – Born September 13, 1937, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 5, 2016. Predeceased by mother Laura Claire Tarr; father Norman Ellsworth Tarr and brother Norman Tarr Jr. Survived by her daughter Lesley Woodhouse of Guelph, grandchildren Austin and Kathleen Woodhouse, brother Duane Tarr of PA and nieces and nephews. She will be missed by long term friend Karen Dunbrook. She was a former U.S. Marine Corps, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Cremation has taken place. Donations would be appreciated in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Waterloo or St. Vincent de Paul at Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation will take place Wednesday, September 7 from 6-9 pm at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S, with a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 305 Laurentian Rd, on September 8 at 10:30 am, followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
