Nick Ozaruk

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Lanark Heights, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Amy, loving father of Susan (Phil) Allen, Peter (Nancy) Ozaruk, David (Tina) Ozaruk and Janet (Phil Bauer) Ozaruk. Dear grandfather to Monica and Alexandra; Ryan, Laura and Alyssa; and Nicholas and Lillian. Loving brother of Walter (Dorothy) Ozaruk. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Nick was employed at Dominion Tire, International Harvester in Hamilton and then retired after 25 years in 1991 from the University of Waterloo finally serving the position of Director of Safety. He loved to collect and restore sports cars and enjoyed many years at their cottage and sailing. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South, on Friday, January 27th, 2012, from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Time of Memorial will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 28 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date once cremation has taken place.
