Beloved husband of Amantina Polanco, cherished son of Leszek and Danuta Badelek, and dear brother of Severyn Badelek. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and quiet strength that touched the lives of all who knew him. His warmth, his peaceful nature, his thoughtfulness and kindness, will forever echo in their hearts. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the unwavering love he showed to his family and friends.
Robert brought comfort simply by being there, and his laughter and humour gifted joy. Though his time was far too short, the impact he made will continue to be felt for the rest of our lives. Robert had a deep love for music and movies which in turn went alongside his fondness for cosmic nature. He held a unique perspective on our existence appreciating both the grandeur of the universe and the delicate beauty of Earth. These passions reflected the way he embraced life: with openness, curiosity, appreciation and a gentle touch that made him a wonderful, pleasant and calming individual. Whether sharing a favorite song, discussing a film that moved him, or admiring the nature of the world around us Robert had a distinctive gift for making those around him feel seen, valued, and appreciated. His presence brightened the lives of family, friends, and those who knew him. Robert will be deeply missed, warmly remembered, and forever loved.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), where family and friends will gather to honour Robert’s life and celebrate the many ways he enriched theirs.
