Robert is survived by his loving children, Rob (Paulina) and Cyndie (Dave) Jenkins. He was a cherished grandpa to Eric, Megan, and Adam, and a proud great-grandpa to Raina and Logan. He will be dearly missed by his sister Lillie (Doug) and sister-in-law Pat, and was predeceased by his brother Joseph.
Robert, along with his brother Joe, co-owned and operated Berger Brothers Inc. in Kitchener until his retirement at 55. In retirement, Robert and Carol relished their time at their home in Port Franks, where he always found ways to stay busy. Winters were spent basking in the warmth of Florida’s sunshine and enjoying the ocean.
Robert’s memory will be treasured by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener) on Sunday, September 15th from 5-8 pm and Monday, September 16th from 10-11 am. Service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the MS Canada.
