Shelley Lois (Wicks) Freemantle

Beloved wife of Donovan Freemantle. Dear mother of Elijah Freemantle and mother in-law to Sheila Ahrens. Loved grandmother Tashni, Marleigh, and Jasiah.

Dear sister of Gwen Anderson and husband Joe Anderson, Todd Wicks and his wife Lynn Wicks, nephew Tyler Wicks, niece Paige Wicks. Stepmother to Junior, Shannon, Omari and Najah.

Predeceased by her father Ross (2002) and her mother Delphine (1987), her brothers Cameron (2009) and Blair (1987), and nephew Christopher (2015).

Shelley was loved dearly by her lifelong best friend Cindy Haller, Jah-B (Patrick Beckford), Kim Adderley and by her many friends and family in Jamaica.

Shelley had an immense love for life and although she battled Leukemia for the past year and a half she never gave up and never lost hope. She will be remembered for the unconditional love and care that she had for her family and friends and of course for her beloved grand-dogger Buffy.

Shelley’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Shelley will be missed dearly.
