Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary’s Hospital, on Saturday, July 23rd at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband’s Helmut Hatting (1962) and Gerhard Grimm (1992), Sophie leaves precious memories with her brothers Ludwig Schank (Marjorie) and Max Schank (the late Tomi), and was a special aunt to Schenay, Hagen and Margaret. Sadly missed by her dear friends; Susan and David Kachik, Hilla and Herbert Franck and Katherine Taylor. Cremation has taken place, a grave side service will be held at Woodland Cemetery on Saturday July 30 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the charity of one’s choice is greatly appreciated.
