A devoted father, Stephen leaves behind his beloved children, Kayla and Colin Pike, who were the greatest pride and joy of his life. He was the cherished son of Karen (Gary) Felhaber and the late Stephen Pike (2011). He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Dale (Tanya) Pike, Tammy (Wayne) Bisch, Mary-Lynn Pike (Dave), Sheila (Darrell) Weber, Shelley Felhaber, and Randy (Heidi) Felhaber.
Stephen was a proud and loving uncle to Jason, Stephanie, Kyle, Derek, Jakob, Julia, Gabi, Kevin, Nikki, Brianna, Shane, and Ashley. His family meant everything to him.
Known for his big heart and easy kindness, Stephen had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He never hesitated to lend a hand, share a story, or crack a joke — often at the most unexpected (and sometimes most inappropriate) moments — just to see someone smile. His sense of humour was one of his greatest gifts.
Stephen was a true sports lover. Whether he was out on the golf course, casting a line on a quiet lake, or watching a hockey game, he was happiest when the game was on and good company was nearby. He was a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays, faithfully cheering them on through every high and low season.
Beyond sports, Stephen loved music and had a special appreciation for old cars, always admiring their craftsmanship and character. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life — a good song, a sunny afternoon, and a shared laugh.
Above all else, Stephen loved his family. Time spent together — whether at gatherings, on the course, by the water, or simply around the table — meant everything to him. His presence brought laughter, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
Stephen’s sudden passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved him. He will be remembered for his warmth, his humour, his unwavering love for his family, and his generous spirit. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Stephen's Life will be held on Saturday, March 7 at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Remembrances shared at 4:00 pm.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or Kitchener Minor Hockey- Donna’s Kids.
