Tragically and unexpectedly passed away on June 21st 2024. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jennifer Gosling, his daughter and apple of his eye, Isabella (Bella) (Melissa) Mork, (pre-deceased by his son), Alexander, his cherished Mother, Caroline Bulyaki (Ken) sisters, Lindsey Senger (Layton), Kelly Ironside (Craig) and Karyn Bulyaki, and his late father, Erik Mork (Kathleen)
True to form, Tyler was the most fun uncle (Funkle) and will be remembered for a lifetime by his huge brood of nieces and nephews, Braiden, Ella, Emery, Charlie, Nick, Nora, Wyatt, Wrenley, Lainey, Peyton, Paige, Max, Emma, Katie & Allie.
Troublemaking cousin and nephew to all the Kloepfer’s and Mork’s. Favourite son-in-law of Julie Gosling (Paul), Norman Arseneault, Mike Dummer (Debbie), his nana-in law and Peppy, Joanne and Len Gosling, and best brother-in-law to his sisters and brother, Stephanie “Nancy”, Joanne “Jonie”, Megan “kiddo”, Matt (Karina).
Tyler had a magnetic and undeniable personality and upon meeting anyone new made them instant best friends, putting them completely at ease on first meeting. There was no pretense about Tyler and what you see was what you got. A characteristic that endeared him to everyone. An incredibly keen and knowledgeable sports fan, Tyler loved his Kansas City Chiefs almost as much as his wife! Together they fulfilled his dream of visiting Kansas City twice to see Mahomes dominate with a win, tour the stadium, sit in the locker room and wear a genuine Superbowl ring.
Tyler and his wife Jen spent every waking moment cherishing each other’s company, laughing, bickering, and travelling the world together. They often spoke about how grateful they were to have each other and the life they had built together. It was nothing short of magical. Jen and Tyler enjoyed the finer things in life, like finding the best restaurant to enjoy a ribeye with a bottle of Spanish cab sauv, some craft beer, pizza and overpriced cocktails. These were things he also loved and valued. Also, one of the only things he would pay full price for! Tyler was truly the happiest when he was with Isabella. He couldn’t wait to pick he up her, so he could talk her ear off in the car, get home prepare some meat on the smoker for her and play their favorite video games. He’d always finish off Sunday night with a family treat from Dairy Queen while they watched a movie or sports. Isabella was his angel, and now he is hers.
When he wasn’t enjoying the finer things, he was relentlessly building Prestige Home Inspection Service, a company he started from nothing and proudly built it into a long-term successful venture. The very same personality that captivated his family and friends alike served him well in business where he was a respected and valued professional. He could imagine and build anything he set his mind to with an almost savant like capability. He was fearless, creative and smart. His incredible work ethic and never-quit attitude served as an example for everyone around him that witnessed how he proudly provided for his family. Tyler accomplished all this even after a rough start to adulthood. Once he determined he would turn his life around, he did just that. He wanted to set a positive example for his daughter Isabella, Mom, Caroline and his little sister Lindsey whom he cherished beyond words.
“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and on that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.” -Jamie Anderson
A cremation service has taken place, and a Celebration of Life, as per his wishes, will follow in August. Details will be announced soon.
