Alan Forrest Turner, age 63, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. Alan was a graduate of Holston High School, Class of 1976. From high school, he was a trainman for Southern Railway for several years until he decided to follow his talent and passion as a foreign car mechanic.
Alan was preceded in death by parents, John C. and Betty F. Turner and brother, John S. Turner. He leaves behind brother, Jeffrey Turner; uncle, Ken Wells; nieces, Beth Parkey, Cynthia Turner and Claire Turner; nephew, Bryan Wells and Jerry Turner; aunt, Anna Turner.
Family will receive friends Thursday, March 24th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Graveside service will take place Friday, March 25th at Lynnhurst Cemetery, meeting at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home at 10:45am for an 11am service with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division St. Knoxville, TN 37919.
