JONES, ARNOLD C. "BUCK" - age 93, of North Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at North Haven Healthcare. Member of North Knoxville Baptist Church and retired from Johnson and Galyon Construction Company. He was a veteran of U.S. Army during WWII, as a medic. Member of Charles H. McKinney Lodge #433. Preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Dorothy Jones; parents, Elmer and Myrtle Jones; brothers, Lester and James; sister, Charlotte. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Greg Stephens; son and daughter-in-law, Edward Jones and Janice Emitt; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother, Ted Jones of Akron, OH; sister, Louise Bozeman of New Market; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p. m.., Saturday, at Greenwood Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Honorair Knoxville, www.honorairkn.com.
